I travelled to Dover to see a bronze age boat they had on display in the museum. This boat was much larger than the single-occupancy dug out boats I had been researching for the ‘more boats’ project but is useful to study for one of the development works I’m working on that will be a larger community focussed project.

I was particularly interested by the way the parts of the boat were joined together the work I want to make will draw together a series of separate pieces to form a whole.
