One of the things I’ve had to consider now that the project is drawing to its close and I am planning the end exhibit, is just how to display the boats. I want them to be off the floor but not on some great apparatus that will dominate. I also want the audience to be able to view the underside of them.

If I had the budget I’d suspend them by wire from the ceiling. But I don’t have the budget, so my lofi DIY solution is to make tripods. This tested my knot making skills so I guess it is boat adjacent in that sense too.

I think the tripods came out well and some images of them in use will come later.
