There’s not much else to say on this one that isn’t in the video.

The video documents making the concrete boat, launching it, and some of the ideas behind it.

Having completed this piece it feels like an appropriate homage but also something to be seen as something closer to a sketchbook work… something to develop into either-

1. A working concrete boat.

2. A full scale non-functioning boat.

It was fun to document the whole process in video and following Bob and Roberta Smith gave me some freedom in the way I presented it. Enjoy.
