THE DOGFISH WOMAN

A Contemporary Art Project Comprised Of An Interdisciplinary Body Of Work.

A series of artworks across a range of disciplines reviving folktale practice, based on the purported 10th century folk-story of The Dogfish Woman of Folkestone. The body of work will grow over-time and is not yet complete.

The best source of information on the legend that informs the project is the book ‘In Search of The Dogfish Woman‘, a translation of the old english text can also be found at this link.
